A little school with a big heart

Since 1982, Toddlers Nursery & Playschool has been part of everyday family life around IC Colony Road, Borivali West. What began with founder Rence Candes D'Souza's dream has grown into a warm first-school experience for generations of children.

How it all began

Rence Candes D'Souza believed the early years shape who we become. She wanted a place where children could learn through play, build confidence, and feel genuinely loved.

That spirit still guides us today: small groups, attentive teachers, hands-on activities, and space for children to move, sing, make, pretend, and settle at their own pace.

Families in IC Colony and Borivali West still remember Toddlers as a familiar neighborhood school. Some former students now bring their own children here, carrying the same gentle start into a new generation.

What we believe

Simple ideas that guide everything we do.

  1. Children first

Every decision starts with what's best for the little ones.

  2. Learning through play

The best lessons happen when children are having fun.

  3. Partner with parents

You know your child best. We're here to support and guide.

Teachers who stay

Our teachers are not just qualified; they genuinely love what they do. Many have been with us for years, watching children grow from shy toddlers into confident little people.

They know when a child needs a hug, when they need space, and how to turn tears into giggles.
